GALAPAGOS SCIENCE CENTER
Memories of Colloquium #1 of 2020
Anne Guezou is an environmental educator and botanist with a MSc in Tropical Plant Biodiversity (Montpellier University, France), Anne has over 20 years of experience in Ecuador and Galapagos. She first joined the Galapagos Tortoise Movement Ecology Programme in 2010 to study the plant component of giant tortoise habitats. Now acting as the local education and outreach coordinator for the Programme, she translates our scientific results in meaningful ways for local communities, including young people and decision makers.
Anne presented about the results of 10 years of work under the Galapagos Tortoise Movement Ecology Programme. You can read about this program at their website where most of our publications can be downloaded: http://www.gianttortoise.org/gtorgmay2017en_006.htm.
We hope to upload Anne´s presentation in Spanish shortly, in the case you missed the colloquium.
