The Galapagos archipelago has a wide diversity of fish whose preservation guarantees the functioning of the marine ecosystem. In this study, developed by several authors including USFQ professors and GSC scientists, Marjorie Riofrío Lazo and Diego Paéz Rosas, ecological and taxonomic indices are used, as well as multivariate analyzes to identify spatio-temporal changes in the structure of the community of fish in the coastal habitats of San Cristóbal Island.
